National Science Week from the 29 July – 3 August., a celebration of science. 2019 theme is “Facing the harsh realities of climate change”. The KZN Museum has put together an exciting programme of activities that include in-house programmes, outreach initiatives (with learners, businesses and other stakeholders); members of the public, shopping centres and libraries.
Visit our stand outside the Pick n Pay court at the Liberty Midlands Mall from the 29 July - 3 August to learn more about the "Harsh Realities of Climate Change".

The Museum will be closing at 3pm today, 21 June, for fumigation of some of the collection rooms. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We will be open for the weekend again as per our normal operational hours. 

Opening Times

Monday to Friday - 8:15 to 16:30 
Saturdays - 9:00 to 16:00 
Sundays - 10:00 to 15:00

ENTRANCE CHARGES

Adults (over 17 years) : R15.00

Children (4-17 years) : R 5.00 

School Learners on tour : R 2.50 per child

Pensioners & toddlers : FREE
