On the 13 June the KZN Museum participated in a collaborative enviro-outreach event by marking World Oceans Day. KZN Museum’s Chief Outreach Education Officer, Marsha Kalika presented a water filtration and demonstrated water testing. Other activities included innovative poetry, essays, dances, skits and music from learners. Stakeholders presented on the importance of oceans and rivers. Poster competition was held and certificates were issued to learners from different grades by EDTEA. The event was held at the Gasela Primary School and was attended by about 400 learners.
