There is always something new to see at the KZN Museum - it's something that we pride ourselves on. This year for Heritage Day we have set up a temporary exhibition and gave our staff a chance to tell their own stories! The display features objects that have a special significance to staff members, with a small story attached. It is so special to see the various items that staff chose to highlight and even more touching to read the stories attached to it. This is a pilot project and next year we will invite members of the community to submit their objects and their special stories. We plan to grow the exhibition to be more representative of our community, to be bigger and even better.

The display will officially be open on Friday, 20th September at the Museum’s Heritage Day celebrations and will be up for a year. Come and have a look!
